Talk to us about your mental wellness
Around one in three New Zealanders has experienced mental distress. Rates are higher among Māori, young adults and members of the rainbow community.
Anxiety, depression, mood disorders, addiction and bipolar disorder are among the most common mental health issues – and we’re here to help. The experts working in our mental health consultation services team will listen to you and come up with a plan for treatment.
What happens during mental health consultations?
- You can speak to your GP, Health Improvement Practitioner or Wellness Support nurse who will listen to you and assess your mental wellness.
- We will ask you questions about your lifestyle and state of mind.
- We may recommend you visit other specialists.
- You may get a diagnosis or you may need further mental health consultations.
- We will work with you to come up with a plan to treat and manage your mental wellbeing – this will be an ongoing process and may include lifestyle changes and/or medication.
- If you’re worried, please feel free to bring someone to support you.
Questions that may be asked during mental health consultations
- What are your emotional and physical symptoms?
- How long has this been going on?
- What are your eating and drinking habits?
- Who do you have to support you?
- What have you already tried to improve your mental wellness?
常问问题
如您想在我们的诊所注册，您先需要填写我们初级卫生保健机构（Primary Health Organisation，简称 PHO）的注册表格。这是新西兰卫生部的规定。您还需要提供身份和资格证明：
- 新西兰护照或新西兰出生证明，或
- 其它国家的护照与永久居民签证、居民签证、或 24 个月以上的工作签证
在注册表格上请注明你想注册在哪位还有接受新病人的医生名下。
在我们诊所新注册的病人需要约见我们的护士或医疗助理完成一个健康询问会诊。
在健康询问会诊中，护士将会测量您的身高、体重、血压等，和简单的跟您相谈病史，让我们的医疗团队更好了解您的健康状况。
完成健康询问会诊后便可以与医生会诊。
All GP appointments are 15 minutes long.
- One appointment is for a single health issue.
- Should you wish to have a 30-minute GP appointment, it will be charge at a non-subsidized rate.
- Depending on your age and health, one of our specialist nursing or pharmacist clinicians may be able to spend more time with you.
If you are a new patient, you will get full access to the patient portal “My Indici” once you have completed your enrolment.
